Incident Management

Network security is a three step process: Prevention, Identification, and Mitigation. While a threat or attack is best combated if it is avoided, there could be when an attack makes successful inroads into the network. However, on such occasions too, the harm these attacks can cause to the organisation's security can be reduced and nullified if the attacks are detected well in time and strong mitigation strategies are deployed to counter these attacks.

RSIM is one such effective strategy. It is a highly evolved resolution in the process of threat management. RSIMs incident management and ticketing feature enables an organisation to specifically classify and identify those vulnerabilities and risks that are most critical to the organisation's operations. RSIM based on the risk index and asset scores, identifies the vulnerabilities, risks and events that need immediate attention and notifies these events in the form of tickets. Tickets once raised can be assigned or fetched and then can be resolved.
