RSIM Functionality

RSIM is an ensemble of multiple security solutions working in sync with one common objective: 'Improvement of Information Security Posture'. It delivers and provides business critical security solutions for a variety of business domains. It enables an organisation to manage its assets by identifying the business critical hardware and software and classify them based on the (Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability) CIA ratings.

Log Management

One of the key features of RSIM is an efficient log management system. It collects and translates logs from security devices such as firewalls, IDS/IPS/HIPS as well as from other logging devices such as servers, applications, databases, IP devices, etc. It has a highly evolved log archival system that facilitates easy and simplified log archiving. Automated vulnerability assessment and security audit module is another feature of RSIM, utilising which it identifies, rates and scores the internal vulnerabilities and external threats based on the asset valuation. This facilitates in establishing the risk index which assists in the creation of a risk baseline. Risk baseline plays an important role in the process of 'Risk Management'. The automated vulnerability assessment and security audit modules of RSIM do not have usage constraints and can be utilised and run on the organisation's assets as many times as required.

Event Analysis

RSIM allows the security analysts to create multiple filters using the event analysis console. These filters enable an organisation to implement its compliance standards and simultaneously ensure event identification, analysis and mitigation in real time. It also has a highly sophisticated dashboard functionality specifically designed for the CTOs, CISOs and the higher management. The dashboard presents a consolidated graphical representation of the security scenario of an organisation and helps in easy identification of security glitches and thus aids the CTOs/CISOs to formulate counter measures to keep the security of the organisation intact.

Incident Management and Ticketing

RSIM also has a highly evolved incident management system that identifies the vulnerabilities & threats and based on the risk rating of the same, RSIM raises a ticket. The ticket is then assigned and resolved by the security analysts preventing any threat or vulnerability going unnoticed.
